We run over to Mamaw's house where Mom is and eat ice cream. So, of course, everyone is high on ice cream. And we talk and chat and carry on and whatnot until past 11. Then Mom sends us back to go to sleep.
We stay up later. And talk about odd stuff. Like what me and my twin bro did when we were kids. And the cost of tablets to draw on. Etc. And I watched my sister's draw. And I mutilated one of my sister's fox faces. I gave it vampire fangs, a fez, an earing and a monocle at first. Then I made it into a jack in the box head popping out with the caption "Dance! My Puppets! Dance!" Then I added little tingles coming out of the box.
It didn't look all that bad. So I tried to draw Falar. Unfortunately, he was too tall and his head ended up small 'cause the Fox in a Box got in the way. And his legs were too skinny and whatnot.
So I turned over the page and tried to draw a head-on view of somebody shooting an arrow. It didn't work. The only thing that was remotely salvageable was the face. So I redrew the face, put it on a body and started adding stuff. The first frame of this comic thing is the redrew face...
